Cheezy Bhutte Ke Kabab Recipe (Cheesy Corn Kebab)


A delightful starter to indulge in. Try this original Makai ke kabab with a twist.

Ingredients for Cheezy Bhutte ke Kabab recipe:

Corn - 1/2 kg
Cornflakes - 75 gm
Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Bread crumbs, as an required
Potatoes - 100 gm
Cheese - 1 cup, grated
Ginger - 1" chopped
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Chilli - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - handful, chopped
Chat masala, as required
Raisins - 10 to 15
Oil, for frying
Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt, to taste

Recipe for Cheezy Bhutte ke kabab recipe:

Boil the corn and chop it coarsely. Keep aside for a while.

Boil the potatoes and mash them once cool. Add to it the boiled and roughly chopped corn, ginger, garam masala, green chilli, coriander leaves, chaat masala, chopped raisins, cumin powder, salt and red chilli powder. Mix and add cornflour along with breadcrumbs to bind well.

Shape the mixture in form of a ball and press thumb to make hollow in the middle. Fill the grated cheese and cover the end. Top it with some cornflakes.

Deep fry the croquettes in oil and serve with sauce or green chutney.
