About Yoga:

Yoga is not just a type of body exercise, but it is known to be a exercise which combines body, mind and speech. Yoga has been practiced in India for more than 400 to 500 years, right from 4th century and till date it has been a internationally acclaimed practice which not just people here in India but all over practice and experience benefits. Other than just an exercise Yoga also involves meditation. Yoga has timely proved its benefits to our body and soul. This can be understood only by those who practice Yoga regularly without fail.

Benefits of Yoga:

There are many benefits of yoga to a person who practices it regularly. Out of many asanas, few have their own benefits and are meant for particular ailments. Regular practice helps cure those ailments and provide many such other benefits. Yoga is not just restricted to person of a particular age. But any person right from a 5 year old child to 70 years old person can practice Yoga for its benefits, few of which have been listed below:

1. Regular practice of yoga has known to develop self esteem and self discipline in people of any age.

2. Yoga helps to enhance physical fitness and overall develops mental health and hence children should also practice yoga for these benefits.

3. For old people yoga helps to relieve problems which may otherwise cause immobility in them. For example people with Arthritis or other joint problems and even muscular problems or breathing problems should practice yoga for relief.
