Jalpari Kebab Recipe - Fish Kebab

Ingredients for Jalpari Kebab Recipe:

Fish fillet - 8 nos. (any white fish)
Prawns - 2 cups, de-veined, cleaned and diced
Gram flour - 2 tbsp
Cream - 1 cup
Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
Ginger - 2 tbsp, chopped
Green chilies - 2, finely chopped
Chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Salt, as required

Method for Jalpari Kebab Recipe:

On a flat dish, spread the fish fillet and sprinkle salt and lemon juice over it. Lightly coat on both side. Refrigerate for an hour.

In a non-stick pan, heat 1 tbsp butter. Add chopped ginger and green chilies. Saute. Add diced prawns, garam masala and seasoning. Stir well. Set aside and allow it to cool.

Once done, place little shrimp mixture on each fish fillet and roll it. Wrap each fillet roll tightly in aluminium foil. Poach each roll in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove from foil.

In a pan add remaining butter and roast gram flour for a couple of minutes. Set aside and allow it to cool. Once done mix gram flour with the cream. Mix well.

Coat each fish fillet roll in the cream mixture and skewer each roll and place it on a hot tandoor or grill. Grill till done. Serve hot with mint chutney.
