Scrubbing your way to a healthy skin

Humidity during summer can expose your skin to breakouts and allergies. Some pampering to our body with the help of home-made body scrubs cannot only exfoliate our face and body but also keep infections at bay. A good homemade scrub helps getting rid of dirt as well as dead cells. Regular use of homemade scrubs can revitalize your skin.

Regular use of scrub on face makes it look young, soft and lively. Use of homemade exfoliant can be highly beneficial as it is natural and fresh. A good scrub makes you feel good and energetic. Scrubbing is not only for face but also for your body. Scrubbing helps and boosts circulation, as it increases blood flow to the skin's surface. The final results of scrubbing are glowing, healthy skin. 

But one shouldn't go overboard with body scrubbing. It can be done twice a week and only for 2 -3 minutes. Excessive scrubbing can dry your skin and also cause irritation. Acne could be aggravated as well. Before scrubbing its advisable to go for an allergy test, i.e. try a particular scrub on a small patch of your inner arm. One should not forget to moisturize your body after scrubbing or it can cause dryness.
